In this short blog post, I will be reviewing the recent Medal of Honor Warfighter Fixer 2.0.5.rar.rar release by a group of hackers who go by the name "The Warfighter". This group has been hacking military installments for years but have never released this much information about their process until now. The most recent installment they have hacked is Medal of Honor Warfighter. Weapon Information: M1911A1, USP .45, WA2000, G3, MK3A1 SMAW, M67 frag grenade, XM29 OICW. All of these weapons will have a different variant of a digital display that can be enabled by moving a file within the folder "\\user\\mp_mh\\config\\" from "0" to "1" in notepad.In the above picture is an image from a hacker who goes by the name "Rambo". The image shows one of the possibilities for the new HUD style. The HUD style is accessible by pressing the following keys during the game. ESDF - The E is for Easy-target reticle. This can be used to view targets close to you with ease. SADF - The S is for Sniper-aiming reticle. This can be used to view targets at distance with ease. RAS2 - This will show a reticle that will assist you in aiming down your gun's iron sights, this can be used if your weapon has an iron sight mode built in. These keys can be rebound to use another key set. There is a hidden file titled "xinput" within the "\\user\\mp_mh\\config\\" folder that will enable and disable each key and the HUD style. The developers decided to remove these files from the game because they found out that it was easy to modify the HUD style by editing the aforementioned file. There is a .sav file within "\\user\\mp_mh\\config\\" that controls exactly what guns will appear in Zeus's stash, though it appears to be blank it actually contains a list of 8 guns. The list can be viewed by opening up "dev_save.sav" in notepad. Right now the only known guns that are listed are: The game's engine was written using DirectX 9.0c, and uses Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler 2008. All of the game's components, including format files, were created using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition. Game data was manually crafted manually to meet quality standards by a team of programmers consisting of 3 individuals, so no automated tools were used to enhance the process or speed up development time.
